LandLuft – The Association for the Promotion of Building Culture in Rural Areas has been promoting building culture in rural districts since 1999 and sees itself as a catalyst and dynamo for municipal projects. I have been a member of the board of directors of LandLuft since February 2019 and I am the chairman of the association.

With networking and training opportunities for municipal decision-makers, in research and consulting projects, but above all through the presentation of exemplary building culture municipalities, LandLuft shows how local communities can invest their limited resources in intelligent and sustainable projects. With a traveling exhibition, a film documentation, the LandLuft study trips, in lectures and at various events, LandLuft presents the building culture recipes for success of those municipalities that were awarded the LandLuft Baukulturgemeinde Prize.

Organization of LandLuft

The board and the advisory board are the club's internal think tank due to their expertise in different fields related to building culture and rural areas. The LandLuft competence pool not only includes the know-how of building culture experts, but also that of committed people from the municipalities.
